There were 5 major creatures I saw in my MBA life [Both in and out of my college].Your life will depend on how you want to spend it.
1. The Worker Bee
2. The Lazy Panda
3. The Happy Go Lucky Squirrel
4. The Raging Bull
5. The Manager
On elaborating each:
The Worker Bee is the most hardworking one. They work day and night. They wake up early, and go to sleep at late night. They take lecture notes and rarely share them with anyone. :p
The Lazy panda has already given up. They rarely wake up. Are a typical night owl. Their rooms are filled by battle of weary apocalyptic netherworld you see in Hollywood.
The Happy Go Lucky are the ones that take life as it comes. Be it assignments or projects, they rely on the trusted comrades to get it done. They become best peers with the worker bee to impress and to be a part of that team.
The Raging bull is the angry young man on campus. Whose sole aims to criticism and debating every issue. He is never happy with the system and never tries to change it. He is the devil and rarely gets impressed.
The Manager is the ideal person to emulate. He/She manages everything like, Studies, Faculties, Events everything, Sports. He's/She's the one man/woman army.
In addition to these there are few things to be kept in focus:
1. Studies - Usually everyday is jam packed with 6 hours of mandatory classroom studies.
2. Assignments - You will be neck deep in assignments. Especially if it's visiting faculty :D
3. Projects - End term projects are a nightmare. So get ready to lose a lot of sleep over it.
4. Events - There would be 3-4 major events in your college.
5. Clubs - Club works continue throughout the year.
6. Committees - Committees work can be more pressing especially if you re in placecom or industrial relations team.
7. Mandatory parties - Yeah. We study hard and we party harder unless you want to be a pariah.
In short if you want to succeed and maintain a constant growth, you really need to work hard and sacrifice your dear sleep.
