Last minute preparation doesn’t mean last minute results, learn how to maximize every day in your 25-day CLAT countdown-

If you’re still wondering how to prepare for CLAT in the last 25 days before exam, this guide is exactly what you need.To maximize your CLAT score in the last 25 days, focus on structured revision, consistent mock test practice, and a smart, section-wise daily routine. Avoid new study material at this stage and prioritize revision, test-taking strategies, and mental composure.

STEP 1: Understanding the exam pattern-

To ace any exam, it is very important that you have complete knowledge about the exam pattern, its syllabus and a right strategy to deal with each section in it.

CLAT has five sections: English, Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. The exam will have a total of 120 multiple choice questions that is to be done in 120 minutes.

Here’s a section wise proven CLAT preparation strategy-

     1.   Legal Reasoning-

          ·      This section has about 25% weightage.

          ·      Goal: Accuracy and Principle understanding

         ·      Practice 2 passages daily from the past year’s paper.

          ·      Focus on principle + fact relationship (avoid overthinking law knowledge).

          ·      Maintain a “legal principle cheat sheet” 1line summary of key principles.

     2.   Logical Reasoning-

          ·      This section has about 20% weightage.

          ·      Goal: Speed and Consistency.

          ·      Revise Critical Reasoning (assumption, inference, strengthen/weaken, conclusion).

          ·      Practice 15-20 para-based questions daily.

          ·      Solve from recent CLAT and LSAT-India papers.

          ·      While reading, underline connectors (therefore, however, hence) reveal logic flow.

     3.   English Reading-

          ·      English section has about 20% weightage.

          ·      Goal: Fast Reading + Inference accuracy.

          ·      Do 2 RC passages daily

          ·      Practice questions on tone, inference, summary, and vocab in context.

          ·      Revise editorials (The Hindu, Indian Express)- read+ summarize.

          ·      Revise commonly confused words, idioms, and grammar traps.

     4.   Current Affairs and GK-

         ·      This section has about 25% weightage.

         ·      Goal: Revision and memorization.

         ·      Revise June- November 2025 current affairs.

         ·      Focus on Awards, Sports, Government schemes, international news and Legal &constitutional updates, bills, acts, Supreme Court judgements.

         ·      For a more CLAT Exam 2026 Current Affairs oriented approach you can refer to TCM Education’s YouTube channel, where you will get a precise and accurate lectures for GK as well as Current Affairs.

         ·      Revise static GK: National parks, important days, organizations (UN, WTO, IMF).

     5.   Quantitative Techniques-

         ·      This section holds up to 10% weightage.

         ·      Goal: Accuracy> Attempt.

         ·      Practice 3-4 sets daily.

         ·      Revise formulas and short tricks.

         ·      Focus on DI passage Interpretation- Don’t waste time on lengthy calculations.

STEP 2: Prioritize Revision Over New Learning-

In the last 25 days of CLAT preparation, it is best to avoid starting any new topic. Focus on revision of high-yield areas. Topics and skills that frequently appear, carry significant weight, or can be quickly improved for maximum score impact should be your top priority in these last 25 days before exam.

STEP 3: Practice Full-Length and Sectional Mock Tests with proper Analysis-

The most effective CLAT preparation strategy in final 25 days is analyzing your mock test. Analyzing your mock can clearly show you your weak topics, topics that you need to focus more on in these last 25 days before your exam, also the type of questions that are repeatedly asked in the paper. Track your accuracy and speed, try to simulate the real exam environment to build confidence. Give proper time in analyzing your mock.

STEP 4: Manage Time and Stress Wisely-

Your mindset is as important as your preparation. Don’t overload yourself with new materials. Maintain a healthy routine, take short breaks, and ensure you get adequate sleep. Stay confident and positive- clarity of mind boosts accuracy during the exam.

CLAT 2026 Study Plan

CLAT 2026 Study Plan varies depending upon the number of days left for the exam, you can also look upon How to Prepare for CLAT 2026 in 30 days study plan, make some minor changes in it and make your own Daily Study routine/ Planner for CLAT 2026.

As of now there are only 25 days left, divide these days into threeslots of 7 days (7+7+7) = 21 days/ 3 weeksand in the last four days reduce your time duration which you were giving in the previous 7 days slot to save yourself from mental and physical fatigue as being healthy during the exam is the most important factor that will affect your score.

In these slots you should focus only on:

    ·      Daily Targets

    ·      Weekly Targets

    ·      Improving Weak Areas

    ·      Revision

  q Week 1(12th Nov – 18thNov)

Daily Goals

Weekly Goals

    ·      1 Sectional Test for Each Section

    ·      2 Previous Mock Tests    Analysis

    ·      Notes Revision

    ·      1 hour – Topic in which you are weak.

    ·      Current Affairs (Dec – Mar)

    ·      3 Mock Tests & their analysis

In the first week, while giving sectional tests and analyzing mocks, you will get to know the topics in which you are weak. Keeping this in mind, there is an extra hour dedicated to your weak areas. Being weak in a topic means you have been skipping or not being able to solve the questions from that topic/area. To improve this, you should first clear the basic concepts from your notes or any book you refer to and then again solve questions from the same topic either from mocks, PYQ or your notes.

Revising notes daily is the most important that you cannot afford to skip, because it lets you remember formulas, method of solving questions and mistakes that you made while solving a particular problem/question, becauseit is always suggested to solve all the questions in your notes including rough work as it will let you know the mistakes you made at the time of revision, so that you won’t repeat them again.

  q Week 2 (19th Nov – 25th Nov)

Daily Goals

Weekly Goals

· 1 Sectional Test for Each Section

· 3 Previous Mock Tests Analysis

· Notes Revision

·   1 hour – Topic in which you are weak

      · Current Affairs (Apr – July)

  · 4 Mock Tests & their analysis

In the second week, increase the frequency of previous mocks analysis as well as attempt of Mock Tests to practice more questions. The reason for practicing questions simply lies in the fact that their level of difficulty is somewhere around the CLAT 2026 Exam.

One more thing to keep in mind is that while giving mocks you should practice filling out OMR answer sheets. Current affairs for the four months (Apr – Jul) should be covered daily rather than piling it up for 1-2 days, because it’s a major section with which you cannot take any risk.

  q Week 3 (26th Nov – 2nd Dec)

Daily Goals

Weekly Goals

    ·      1Sectional Test for Each  Section

    ·      3 Previous Mock Tests Analysis

    ·      1 Extra Sectional Mock Test

    ·      Notes Revision

    ·      1 hour – Topic in which you are weak

     ·      Current Affairs (Aug – Nov)

     ·      4 Mock Tests & their analysis

In the previous two weeks after giving these many Sectionals and Mock Tests you could clearly identify the section in which you are still lagging;  that's the reason there is an extra sectional test for that section. You need to put in some extra effort and find out why you are scoring low whether it’s because you are not able to understand the questions or it’s just because you are conceptually weak and then work accordingly.

For the last four days you just need to sit back and relax all you should do is revise the whole 1-year current affairs, overview your mocks, notes, and revise all the formulas. Avoid learning new things in this duration as it will only mess up the things. Be calm, spend time with your family, and prepare your strategy for the exam.
