What is the CAT eligibility criteria for reserved categories ?
For reserved categories the eligibility criteria is as follows:
1.15% of seats are kept for SC (Scheduled Caste)
2. 7.5% of seats are kept for ST (Scheduled Tribe)
3. 27% of seats are kept for OBC (Other Backward Classes)
4. 3% of seats are kept for PWD (person with disability)
The person with disability include:
• low vision blindness
• hearing impairment
• loco motor disability/cerebral palsy
Any candidate of above category can apply for their respective category only if he/she suffers from any listed disabilities to the extent of less than 40%, as certified by a medical authority.
