About ATMA 2018

The AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) 2018 is a national level entrance test conducted multiple times a year by the Association of Indian Management School (AIMS). The score of ATMA 2018 will be accepted by 740 top B-schools in India for admission to the postgraduate programmes in the Management domain (MBA, PGDM, PGDBA etc.). As per the eligibility criteria prescribed by the conducting body, applicants should either be graduates or in their final year of graduation from a recognised institute to appear in ATMA 2018. The single window exam is held in both offline and online modes across several cities in India. As per the exam pattern, ATMA 2018 will be an objective-type test which evaluates verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, and analysing ability of the candidate. ATMA 2018 Eligibility Criteria

AIMS Hyderabad prescribes the ATMA 2018 eligibility criteria for candidates who wish to appear in the management entrance exam. Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria of ATMA 2018 before applying for the exam as stated below:

  • Candidates must be graduates completed their Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited Institution or University. Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for ATMA 2018.
  • Age limit – There is no age bar for candidates who wish to take ATMA 2018.
  • Repeaters - Aspirants who have previously appeared for the exam can re-apply for the exam.
  • Work Experience – Not necessary; as both working and non-working aspirants can apply.

Aspirants must check that they duly fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for ATMA 2018 to avoid their candidature from being at the time of admission.

The application form of ATMA 2018 will be released in online mode by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). An application fee has to be paid at the time of filling the online application form of ATMA 2018. Additionally, in order to complete the ATMA 2018 registration, candidates must enter their phone number and email ID since the exam-related information will be communicated through them. Prior to filling the application form, the eligibility criteria to appear for the exam must be checked.

Steps to fill ATMA Application Form 2018

  • Step 1 - Go to the official website of ATMA AIMS
  • Step 2 - Application fee payment:

Go to the Online Fee Payment tab under the ATMA Online Exam tab. An application fee of Rs. 1298/- must be paid using any one of the four methods like Debit/Credit card, Net Banking or NEFT, payment by Cash through FCC/Distributor.

  • Step 3 - Request for PID (Personal Identification Number

Fill the personal details like Full name, Email ID and Mobile Number. Candidates need to take two printouts of the filled-in ATMA 2018 Application Form which must be carried on test day. An auto-generated mail will be sent to the registered email containing the login credentials.

  • Step 4 - Fill and complete ATMA application form 2018

Use the login credentials sent to the registered email ID to login to ATMA account and complete the application form. Take a print of this as well and keep it for future reference.

ATMA 2018 Exam Pattern

The ATMA 2018 exam pattern is formulated by AIMS (All India Management Association). The exam is conducted in both the computer-based and paper-based mode for a duration of three hours. The test will have a total of 180 MCQ questions from broadly three sections.

As dicussed above, each of the three sections- Analytical Reasoning, Verbal Skills and Quantitative Skills will be repeated twice making it a total of six sections.

Marking Scheme of ATMA 2018 - One mark for each correct answer will be awarded. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

ATMA 2018 Admit Card

The admit card of ATMA 2018 will be issued to those candidates who successfully register for the exam. They can download the ATMA 2018 admit card from the official website by logging in with their credentials. The hard copy of the admit card will not be sent to any candidate as it will be made available only in online mode. It is advisable to take extra copies of the hall ticket of ATMA 2018.

ATMA 2018 Selection Process

After the result, the B-schools accepting ATMA scores will announce the shortlisted candidates for the next rounds of admission. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the Group Discussion (GD) or Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The final merit list will be prepared based on the ATMA scores, performance in GD/WAT-PI rounds and overall academic profile of the candidates.

While attending the ATMA 2018 selection procedure, candidates have to carry certain important documents like original shortlist letter, copies of certificates of Xth and XIIth, ATMA scorecard, original admit card, and original degree/provisional certificate. A final merit list, based on the ATMA result, performance in GD/WAT-PI rounds and overall academic profile of the candidates will be prepared. This will be followed by the final admission process to the respective B-schools.

  • All the original and at least two photocopies of certificates of Xth and XIIth

  • Five to six passport size photographs - colour as well as black and white
  • Original degree or else provisional certificate (in case the candidate is yet to receive the graduation certificate)
